Our Large Heart Calabash necklace and earring set is a beautiful accent for your Valentine's Day or Year-Round. They are hand-painted on pieces of calabash and covered with a clear finish. The necklaces have an adjustable knot closure so you can wear them at the length you wish. Our earrings have a sterling silver hook coil wire.
Calabash refers to a fruit vine, a tropical tree, or the dried shell of a bottle gourd. When harvested young it is used as a vegetable for consumption but when harvested old its dried shell can be used for a variety of things, such as this lovely hand-painted necklace and earring set.Â
