Cat Toys - Catnip Mice- Set of 2 - Fair Trade for Pets

Let your cat have fun playing with these mice toys filled with catnip. Cat mint is a delicate flowering plant, called catnip because of the effect it has on cats. Catnip stimulates cats' receptors and is also known to be used in certain herbal medicines for its mild sedative effect on humans.

These cute catnip mice are handmade by women artisans from the UPAVIM cooperative on the outskirts of Guatemala City. UPAVIM, which stands for United for a Better Life, is an 80-member artisan enterprise helping women through social and economic empowerment. In addition to training women in creating various handmade textiles, UPAVIM has established a school, a pharmacy, and a bakery within their cooperative.
