Simple and stylish, this lotus cuff bracelet with matte finish is delicate enough to wear alone for an understated style, or layer it with other bracelets to make a statement. The story of the lotus flower is a symbol of magical rebirth and has a spiritual connection to Eastern cultures. With it's roots based in mud, it submerges every night into murky river water, and undeterred by its dirty environment it miraculously re-blooms the next morning without residue on its petals. The lotus flower blooms most beautifully from the deepest and thickest mud.

Lotus accents measure approximately 1/3 inch. Slightly adjustable size. The interior diameter is approximately 2.5-inches wide. Brass, Silver plate finish.

The story behind the art: Reimagining the aesthetics of sustainable, ethical fashion, this collection of jewelry is handmade by artisans in village communities in India, oftentimes using eco-friendly materials. About the Artisans

India has always been renowned for its rich silk fabrics, woodcarvings and carpets. However, many of these products are produced in conditions of abject poverty for the craftsmen, exploited by large producers and moneylenders. Asha Handicrafts is a not-for-profit making body, based in Mumbai, India, working to promote Fair Trade and Fair Trade practices. As a member organisation of The World Fair Trade Organization , Asha Handicrafts ensures that the benefits of handicraft production reach the craftspeople themselves.
